Post-breakfast, check out of the hotel and head towards Nagarhole. Located in the Kodagu and Mysore districts of Karnataka, Nagarhole National Park was declared the 37th Project Tiger Reserve in 1999 and is part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve. In the morning, embark on a thrilling safari in Nagarhole National Park, which protects the diverse wildlife of Karnataka. The park is home to key predators like the Bengal tiger, Indian leopard, Ussuri dhole, sloth bear, and striped hyena. Herbivores include chital, sambar deer, barking deer, four-horned antelope, gaur, wild boar, and the majestic Indian elephant. Nagarhole offers a unique opportunity to spot the southern population of gaur and see elephants amidst lush forests and bamboo thickets, which they particularly favor.

The main attraction of Thekkady is the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, also known as the Periyar Tiger Reserve. This sanctuary is home to tigers, as well as a significant population of elephants, rare lion-tailed macaques, sambar deer, leopards, wild bison, and Indian bison. The Periyar Lake, located in the northern part of the park, is famous for its boat rides. Further north, the town of Kumily is surrounded by spice plantations. After the tour, return to your hotel to relax and enjoy the evening.
